The Joy List: XXXX

Plus a referral system

Hi there, friend!

Our New Yorker of the Week today is Natalie. She’s 29, lives on the Upper East Side, and is looking for friendship and love. To contact her, email [email protected] and say what you connected with in her profile!

Ready to be the next New Yorker of the Week yourself? Of course you are! Fill out the application here.

Now, onto the fun stuff:

How would someone who loves you describe you?

I asked my friend Rebecca so you're getting a very detailed response. "Attentive and attuned: present for the people you love and really good about following up with others after they've shared something. Reliable: You always do what you say and follow through. Creative: between writing, dance and fashion, you've got a knack for expressing yourself creatively and you do it well. Balanced: you do a good job of striking up a solid balance between independence and willing to do things on your own vs. spending time with others, taking care of yourself physically vs. indulging.”

What sorts of things do you want to do with your friends?

My best friends bring out the silliest and most serious parts of me so that could mean obsessing over pop culture, celebrities, & TV shows, or having more serious talks about politics, mental health and anything in between. I also love a good group fitness class, the beach, attending events, and trying new restaurants in New York City and most of those things are more fun with friends!

What's something that people might not guess about you?

I have three tattoos.

Are you looking for love? Tell me about the type of person you're looking for!

I am! I'm straight (she/her) and I'm looking for a monogamous relationship with someone who's passionate about what they do, understands my sense of humor, and is good at banter. Ideally someone who is family-oriented, lives an active lifestyle, and appreciates the little things, like a walk in the park or the way natural sunlight shines through my windows. Someone who knows that it's hard to live in New York City, but loves it anyway. Someone who wants to share responsibilities like cooking, while I do the dishes. (Because food is a love language.) Someone who likes to travel, but not extensively and who can be an introvert as much as they are an extrovert. My partner doesn't necessarily need to like doing all of the things that I do (like I mentioned above), but understands my love for them. Ultimately, someone who's supportive and wants to see me thrive.

Anything else that the Joy List community can help you with?

Actually yes! I'm always looking for freelance event production opportunities or copywriting/editorial opportunities! I have a website that talks more about what I do: www.natalie-zisa.com or you can contact me on Instagram. It's all the same these days haha.
