The Joy List: March 23
Hi again, my ebulient readers!
We don’t have a New Yorker of the Week today. So definitely don’t share this form in local NYC community chats that you’re a part of.
And definitely don’t encourage people to apply and find love and friendship.
Definitely don’t do that.
Fun fact: someone messaged me this week, saying that he INSISTS on paying more for an ad. So if you want to pay more, just respond to this email. I will definitely take your bonus money.
Now, onto the GIF and the good stuff:

Gatherings

Saturday, March 28: Hyggehiking NYC's Cherry Blossoms
On Saturday March 28th, we'll set out to explore as many of NYC's public cherry blossom blooms as we can possibly find, spanning Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. We'll begin at Sakura Park in Morningside Heights, wind our way through Riverside Park, Central Park, and Roosevelt Island, then take a shortcut to Flushing Meadows Corona Park, wander Kissena Park in Fresh Meadows, and wrap things up with dinner in Flushing.
Each hygge hike is an exploration of the green spaces throughout our city where we seek to gain a visceral understanding of its neighborhoods and local lore, meet people who can help make NYC feel like a smaller, closer-knit community, and discuss the projects, ideas, and events we're most excited about. Bring your curiosity, reliable footwear, and your friends!
