The Joy List: September 22

Hi there, my lovely, loving readers!

I found out last week that two New Yorkers of the Week are still dating someone they met through the newsletter! YAY! That makes me wonder:

Are any other former New Yorkers of the Week seeing someone they met through the newsletter? Let me know! Nourish my soul!

If you’re interested in being featured, submit yourself here.

It’s perhaps notable that the most successful profiles have been straight men, since a lot of my audience is straight women. So send the application link to your awesome, straight dude friends! (Or whoever is looking for love.)

Since we don’t have a New Yorker of the Week today, I’m sharing some random things that I’ve been loving recently:

  • Think Olio, a favorite Joy List event series, is opening a physical space in Brooklyn! Contribute to their Kickstarter to help make it beautiful, and get free event tickets as a thank you.

  • This 10-minute lymphatic drainage video makes me feel so good. Do I totally understand what it’s doing? No. Will I keep doing it? Yes.

  • Everything this DJ spins up. Send me your favorite mixes on Youtube, I love playing them while I’m meandering around.
